I've seen your HDD 10 Toshiba Hard Disk but I was wondering:

1. What "store" can you buy it from besides calling akia?

2. How does it benefit the MPC 1000?

3. How can get one? What is the best price?

Thank you

if you're asking about the HDM10, i doubt it. i don't believe there is a hard drive connector on the inside of the 2k. but i don't see why (in theory) an external scsi hard drive wouldn't work with the XL

Congrats on the new MPC 8)

On this page :

http://www.akaipro.com/supportos.php#MFC1000

... you'll see a link for the MPC 1000 OS v2.10 and just above it a link to the "How to update" document.

If you find that the screen goes blank after the update, as mine did, turn the MPC off and power up again with the Erase key held down.

sorry it took me so long to get to this, but in a matter of speaking... yes it is. it's actually in the same place as the time stretching feature is.
