I'll cosign to readin the manual...Read it all the time when your on the mpc, while you lettin it cool down, While you takin a S@#T,whenever. I have only 1 greivance wit the manual(mpc1000 os v1.07) coulda been worded a lil better and some things explained a lil more simpler. But put it like this When Primo got his 1st MPC60 He said he looked at the manual hardly ever and figured thangs out himself.... RTM and figure things out 4 yaself.

thanks. I got the 40gb hd and when i put the 32mb memory card in it it loads up like it says it's supposed to when I connect it to my comp. to transfer samples, but i wanted to know how i can get it to do the same thing with my my 40gb hd, so i can just put my samples directly to my 40g. I was told the harddrive loads up like the memory card. so can someone help me out with this. Thanks.

as i just read in the japenese side of the manual you can never load more than 144 megabytes ( 128ram + 16 ) so having 40 or even 100 gigs will not make a diffrence on how many samples you can load. ok i have alot more reading to do the japenese side is so much more detailed.

You need to select Hard Drive at the top of the load screen before you can access the Hard Drive.
