hmm...I didn't notice this with normailizing before.

You can normalize just the section of the sample you are highlighting. This is helpful if you want to loop something that's decaying or fading out and want the volume even...Just normailize one little section at a time.

I don't know if this is common knowledge but it's new to me. Figured I'd pass along the discovery.

yeah that's cool, isn't it? same principal behind "silence." pretty useful if you want to extract a quieter part of your record.
