Those are soundfonts and the only way u can use them with your mpc is to have them in reason, fl, ect.. Programs that have a sound font player.

there are also converters out there which can convert between formats.

I've been using soundfonts for YEARS with my 2kxl.
Supports > than 210 audio file formats.
I download bunches of soundfonts (SF2).
I convert with Awave Studio 9.1 into 44khz wav 16 bit.
Load into 2kxl. Simple.
Awave has a trial demo if I remember correctly.
FMJ software I think is the company.

Yeah and u can get a converter i just saw a thread about that lastnight. If i find it i'll link it on here.
