i have a sample that sort of fits the tempo i want it on but its kind of off beat because its a classical sample.i have the tempo at 80 and i want the sample to fit that tempo so is there any way to fit it into 80 somehow or would i have to commence to chopping particles off to make it fit?

Maybe non destructive editing, slide the sample start point forward backward, time stretch. Keep trying those until you get it right.
