Maybe keep the big boy TRITON and add to the setup with the MPC1k
I like the emu racks (planet phat) and/or some analog gear (access/nord) to the set up as well, maybe your getting bored because its all you primarily use? (I assume)

yeah sometimes you just gotta keep the gear fresh...

it's usually the start of something known as gear lust haha

i like that song you have up btw.. it's not perfect tho -

the bass' timing sounds a little too loose (not the bass like in eq, the bass you play with your fingers).

the autopan on the girl vocals is a little strange too but the song is good so it's ok!

just my thoughts...

Nitpicking, sorray,

Neither Access nor Nord makes any analogue gear. :) The Access Virus series, and/or the Nord Modular or Nord Lead series are virtual analogue. Software with a really, really nice hardware interface.

anything else as played out, I will shoot. Honest....lol.

Anyway if you want the sound you are talking about, you would probably want to look at the SP 1200. Only if that sound is truely what you are looking for tho.

MPC 1000 has a variable bit grunger which you can use to make your beats as grimey as you want to make em. I suggest The 1000 because you can get both clean and grimey with it.
