Chopping on the 1000. Stereo to Mono

Yeah, and it´s a good idea if one might need the options later, personally I don´t. But as a fellow citizen preaching order and structure the german way I totally respect that approach.
What I am / was interested in is if the MPC 1000 sequencer is tight enough to trigger two monos to playback as a stereo without causing time / phase problems?

well recently i've been wondering about this whole timing thing too, because i still haven't noticed anything

but just to make sure, i overlap a bit. these days i bring particularly busy sections into ableton live and warp them to fit everything there, then i bring em back out and chop just like that. then i up the tempo half a bpm and sequence. the pgm is on poly so the overlap helps to blend the sample progression.

see what i'm saying? this way at least the samples don't necessarily end EXACTLY when the next one should begin - instead, a little afterward. this takes care of any possible timing issues.

any be the time all is said/done/tracked into my daw, the timing is 100% what i said i wanted it to be.

would that help the phasing when samples are triggered slightly offset though? surely not.
