Velocity losts

Does any exp member know exactly what velocity parameters 1k looses in front 2k on real time playin and if those could be improved by OS upgrades? I mean if AKAI launched the 1k thinkin to replace 2k in a few months but the couldn't launch the complete functions at 900$ because of the high price of 4k and because of the are already selling 2k at 1200$. And probably, those functions whom don't seem to be so heavy in cost, will be upgraded on a future. Mr 3000 and Mr Tutor please?

Akai has NOT made such an announement, so one cannot presume this is true. Given that, the rest is only speculation.

I don't think akai would announce it anyway. But is I said it was only a personal thought. But, please, can you tell me something about velocity?
