mpc / cubase start-stop problem

Hi there,

i synced my mpc to cubase and basicly everything works fine, but when i press stop (on cubase) the mpc stops for half a sec and then continues to play (like if it was retriggered to start or something). does anyone know where this comes from ? on my mpc 2000 this wasn't the case with the same settings.
