Mpc 1000/w DJ setup

would the Mpc1000 be good to use with my dj setup to trigger sample and things like that

its no problem to plug it on your decs. Do you have a mixer as well? Or just 2 decs and a dj mixer?

I have 2 decks and a mixer I was thinking maybe I could preload sample before the set

But if that's all you want to do with it, I would get a cheaper loop sampler. There are lots of them that are much cheaper than the MPC.

how ever blasphemous this may be but i would reocmmend this sampler if that is all you are wanting to do.

Madlib uses it as a mainstaple in beat making but it can be used for what you want and it also comes with better effects ( in my opinion for dj sets ) than the mpc 1000.
