Need help. Manual says mpc1k has 96 ppn. But i press note repeat with máx resolution 1/32(3) and the max number of beats per bar is 48. When i go into step edit, i only find 48 beats. How can i reach 96 with note repeat?
Thanks

96 is only used for recording your "live" placement. if you want anything faster than 32trips, double your tempo.

Is there any other way?

Is there any other way? I think i'll have to train a little bit to reach 96 with my fingers.

96 is Pulses per quarter note.

So in a 60 BPM track it's like 96 hits per second.

Good luck training your hand!

yeah, but you won't ge 96ppqn rolls with note repeat. Try step edit.

Yeah, that's the other way...do your thing at 1/32 trips, then go to step edit, copy the whole roll, and paste it offset from the first note. ps-how'd you get to 48ppq? the quantizer only goes to 24ppq!

here's a handy reference I use from
