mpc mix

Could some1 link me some info on how to mix down my beats using Cool edit pro or Cubase. I've been makin beats for a while but I've always mixed it on my Mpc then turned it into a .Mp3 file. I need to learn how to separate the tracks so I can sell a beat with the complete mixdown.

not sure where your problem is, if you just track each take into cubase then do the same thing you do on your mpc adjust volume , pan , eq or add effects its just a diffrent medium. mixing is mixing just because its much easier and more effective in a daw you still use the same techs. Oh and dont go to mp3? stay in .wav or .aiff format no one will want anything in mp3 format its just dirty lol.
