assign pads to tracks

I´d like to use the mute track funktion when playing live. (swithing on/off
hihats for example)

when i punch in a beat in overdup mode, all drums are written on one
single track so track-muting switches on/off the whole drumset.

...and copy/pasting/moving the different notes to different tracks is a headache.


can the pads be assigned to specific tracks?

if your talking about using it live, then when you are playing your drums put the selector on "track" and turn the data wheel for each drum sound.

get your hats in first, turn, snares, turn, kicks, turn, etc., turn

then you can just hit the mute tracks button and mute whatever sound you want.

recording them seperately is the only way i know to do this. and i'm assuming you're not gonna want to record the drums in like that live.
