I've searched this over a million times w/ no luck.

Does anyone know how to correctly save programs, files, seq., ect. to the internal HD???? I've had this box for 6 months w/ a 40 gig AKAI recommended HD installed. The not so good solution that I've came up w/ was saving everything into separate folders--& nothing directly to the root. BUT STILL PROBLEMS! I've lost hours of work and tried everything that I could think of.

Anyone.....? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I save all memory to a folder (project). That keeps all my 5hit straight.

This is something im learning that i dont care much for on the mpc's.....The **** things cost a 1000 dollars and up but they have horrid file management!.....They seriously need to improve that.

Thanks for the tip man.
I have been keeping all my seq., programs, & samples in regular folders (non-project). I usually do this if it's only a couple unfinished seq.'s that I want to come back to later & create a song w/. Then when I go back to add/change things on the seq.'s already created, I just replace the old seq. w/ the new. I think I'll just try using project files for everything now. Mabye I can actually get some work done......but I won't hold my breath. I've lost more than half of what I've sequenced since I've had this box.

you think this is better than saving to the autoload? my autoload stopped loading and im loosing many seq files and samples. also in the "load setup" menu my only options are "Autoload:OFF" and "Autoload:INTERNAL MEMORY" I was sure there used to be an "Autoload:ON" option.
