ok  , i can change the pitch of smaples with the sliders but i cant set them to stay the same. SO... i find out the pitch i want now i want to record the sample into sequence and keep the pitch the same as i continue working. but in the case i accidently move the slider it changes. do i have to leave the sliders where they are forever or what?

you just gotta adjust them everytime to where the pitch was before when you recorded it. at least thats what i do, it just takes a second

there is also the smart option of RECORDING the slider movement into the track...(using REC OVERDUB) then the pitch change will stay as it is for ever.

Oh, and there's even better: in PROGRAM mode you can, in the SAMPLE tab, change the pitch of the sample playback in the column that is labeled... (oh my god what a coincindence!) PITCH! This of course would be the best way if you want to keep the pitch as it is.

or resample it, many ways to accomplish this.
