internal memory question

sup everybody

i want to empty my mpc TOTALLY , have all the space for my OWN samples.

THE thing is i am not able to delete the internal samples,seq,progs in the internal memory of my mpc.My card , i can.

i can switch autoload to off , my mpc loads up blank , but i still have acess to those samples in the INTERNAL memory , wich take 6 mb

IF i go to , mode , LOAD , i see:

CArd Free= 30.3MB
Wave Free= 10.4MB
Seq Free= 1562KB

that even if i delete ALL seq , all prog , all samples , and also everything in the removable drive in my computer.

But after all that , i am still able to go , mode , LOAD , internal, then see ALL the factory samples ,

i got OS 3

Please help me out i want that space

that's because there is nothing you can do about that. you CAN NOT erase the internal pgms.

You can try to find the answer in the above jibberish, or why not consult your manual for an indexed, rather easy to understand guide to save your own data in the internal memory. What you need to read is conveniently called "Saving data to the internal flash memory" and is found in chapter 15: Save / Load.

The above is incorrect...
You CAN replace the internal programmes and samples with your own, or with blank programmes and sequences.
If you hit SAVE and select the INTERNAL memory slot you can actually save your own stuff in two steps:
1- save all programmes and samples
2- save all sequences and songs

for some reason you can't save a project (all RAM) in the internal memory.

When the mpc erases the internal memory it takes quite a while (about two minutes...) Time to chill.
