A Couple File-Managing questions.

1. When saving sounds and projects in an AUTOLOAD folder - will the MPC not read the contents if each project is in different folders?....Mine doesnt seem to read that way and only works when all the sounds are mixed together and not organized in folders.

2. If i save each beat/project to its own folder but some folders utilize the same programs for drums, is there a way to not have to have duplicates of the same sounds in each new beat folder so that you can save space on the CF card? ie. Beat 1 and Beat 2 both use a prgm called "drums"....Each beat is saved to its own folder for easier file managing....Both folders have the same drum samples in them though since they both use the same prgm. That seems kinda stupid if your using the same kit sometimes for multiple beats since its taking up precious space when it doesnt need to....So whats a work around for this?

1- Autoload is a single folder from which everything is loaded on boot. No way you can have multiple folders in autoload.

2 - In my experience the best way to save stuff on the MPC is to create one
folder per project although this implies the duplication of some programmes/samples. If you are concerned with CF available space then you can chose to save common programmes and samples to specific folder, then you will have to make accurate saves/loads selecting each time the appropriate programme/folder as required. The MPC cannot automatically load all the programmes/samples/sequences of a given project if they are in multiple folders.

3 - Tag line: get the HDM10 kit and an 80 gb hard drive... you will not be that concerned about space on the CF anymore
