Sequencing Question

I have a sequence with different tracks on it and was wondering what is the best way to sequence on the mpc1000? I want certain instruments to come in at certain bars and such, so what is the best way to do this?

doggie heres an idea. You try different methods your self based on what you know how to do with the 1000 and then through process of elimination decide which method would work the best for you.

Why not use Track Mute?! or am i missing something?

umm...

use the sequence mode window. just learn the bars/numbers/ticks and you'll be straight. read the manual on sequence edit, and you can insert notes and insert the sounds you wanna hear at an exact moment and copy bars and individual notes. it takes a little while to get used to if youre used to sequencing on a computer, but you'll get it.
