Question about click tracks

I'm in a band that is trying to sequence our song where we have our live group also playing with the mpc sequence sounds. The problem we're haveing which may be something we have to live with is, we can't find a way to send just the click to our drummers headphones. Is this even possible to do where our drummer will have the click in his headphones but the track coming through the mains would not? Hopefully this makes sense and someone will have a suggestion Thanks

plug the headphones into an assigneable out

set a track to play a hi hat set to be a metronome.

Yeah we've done that but we would really like to try and find a way to have spaces with nothing on the mpc while our group plays but have sequenced sounds come in here and there. So if we could find a way to have the click go only into our drummers headphones we could have periods of dead air in between our sequenced sounds. There has got to be a way to do this just maybe not with a mpc

antonym is on the money mate, unless your not explaining something or i'm not hearing something right, putting just a hat track to an assignable out and sending that to the drummers cans is the answer.

on the other tracks you can have noise, no noise, beats, whatever, coming out the front of house.

doing stuff with my band in exactly the same way and it works perfectly. We have a bit in almost every song where there is complete silence, and just the drummer gets a click. Normally i just keep the beat looped, and when we want silence, i turn down the fader on the mixer my MPC, is running into, the beat continues to be sent to the drummer, but doesn't reach front of house as my fader is turned down.
