TIMESTRETCH IN MPC 1000

Hi all .

Is the timestretch in the OS 2.1 for MPC 1000 similar to the one in the 2500 ?

Why in the "Release Notes " for OS 2.1 they say : 2. Added timestretch and pitch shift (offline)

What that (offline) means ?

Haven´t tried the 2500 so I don´t know for sure if the 1000 uses an identical TS algorithm, but it probably is that way. OS´s seems virtually the same apart from some add ons in the 2500 (mostly now lifted to the 1000 by JJ).

"Offline" is probably referring to that it´s not a real time effect, you´ll need to seperately process your samples, not like Ableton Live, FL or Acid where samples automatically TS´s to fit the tempo of your song.
