SYNC MPC 1000 TO CUBASE SX 3 ( using Vst Instruments )

Hi,

could someone tell me how exactly to sync the mpc to cubase sx3. I would like to use my vst instruments, but keep the timing of the mpc ( midi data is in the mpc ). I would download the new OS 1.05 from JJ to use the MTC.
Step by Step Explanation for dummies would be perfect.
