The other day I was layering some drums and bouncing them out to Pro Tools and noticed something that got me stuck... very quickly, my creative vibe was taken over by trying to figure out how to send individual tracks out of the 4 aux's of my MPC... my first guess was that the sends would probably be in some sort of a Track mixer window... next, I realized that there was no damn Track mixer window, and all of a sudden my session turned into a technical nightmare... I messed with my MP for hours, learned how to use a bunch of features, but still no Track mixer, or even something that resembles one... How is it that you can have a Mix window for each individual pad, but no Mix window for the different tracks.... Am I missing something? Or does the MPC 1000 really doesn't have something like that?

The mixer is entirely for the pads, I wish you could do track mixing but you can't.

I read over the manual for the 3.0 OS... I really didn't like the fact that the upgrade from 2.1 would cause so many features to change... Plus... its not even made by Akai, so I'm a little skepticle on putting it down on my MPC... As far as ProTools, the reason I wanted to know if there is a track mixer, is so I can record into Pro Tools a little more easily... and send only the tracks that I want to use into Pro Tools...
