Midi Controller for the 1k?

Since theres no portamento/legato on the mp, IS it possible to hook up a midi controller to play lets say a multisampled pgm and play portamento back into the mp?? Kinda like what you do in a vst app

Portamento would be a function of the sound module. The MPC will sequence that. The answer would be yes it seems

If the multi-sample is on the MPC, then the answer is no. If the multi-sample is in the controller's sound module (if it has one), then that depends on the sound module, as stated by Austin.
