I'm using a MPC 1000 and Motif Rack ES....When I play the keys on my midi controller I hear the drum kit I loaded in the MPC...I just want the sound from the Motif Rack ES across the keys. How can I get the drum sounds from the MPC off the keys of the midi controller? Do I have to turn local controll off? If so, how to I go by doing this?

-Turn the Local Control OFF (refer to manual b/c im not real sure how its done on that particular module or go to www.motifator.com)
-Make sure the MPC track is turned from DRUM to MIDI
-Make sure PGM is set to OFF for tracks u are using MIDI for.
