I'm getting this problem a lot, about once a session...
My MPC1000 randomly spits out a huge wall of static!
It doesnt freeze, it can save, program, play fine....but the onlyoutput is pure static! Hurt my ears in my headphones...
I am running OS 2.1, with expanded 128RAM (this happened before the ram too), and have a 1gb SANDisk. I have returned my MPC to the store I bought it from, they gave me another one and I STILL have this problem!
