i dont get saving and delelting

dude i just got my mpc1k like 2 days ago i used to have a sp303 and that thing was so simple anyways ive figured out how to do most things on the mpc but the saving and memory storage confuses the hell out of me so heres a few questions i got

1.what does flash storage mean i know its the internal memory but how does it work and how do you delete things off the flash storage like the factory preset samples those things suck

2.after i sample like 3 or 4 samples that are like 10 to 20 seconds long each and i try to slice one sample it say insufficent memory what do i do to fix that do i have to get the bigger harddrive

3.can i just buy a 1 gig memory card for now and slice longer samples or should i just get a new harddrive

sorry if these questions have been answered somewhere else or if its in the manual i looked through both and tried everything but i get to distracted cus i just wanna make a beat real quick and then i keep adding shit and i forget i was trying to figure out how to save and stuff
anyways i miss my old sp303 and i cried the day it broke but im so glad it did because mpc are so sick yea so thanks in advance for helping out

your most defenitley going to need to get a flash card, i wouldnt wanna be **** with just the internal memory. Get any size flash card really, i got 128mb and its plenty.

With your saving problems, i also was confused since I too came from usin the Sp-303 to the 1k. You need to watch the tutorial on FP to learn how to save projects
