Samples

I am a bit confused with the samples that come load with the mpc1000. Are there any or does everything have to be loaded? Not sure if there are basic drum sounds and if so, where do I look at them or assign. Went through the manual and struck out. Or is it basically empty until you load or record what you want? thanks

basically empty untill u load or record unless u have on auto load

The MPC comes stock with a compact flash memory card with a few samples on it already, arranged into about 10 drum kit programs. You can have them AUTOLOAD when you turn the machine on, or delete em all and create your own. You can start the machine up with nothing slected or your own AUTOLOAD folder....
