2 years of mpc1000

so i'm on my 2nd year of owning this little thing - my first mpc ever
fastest 2 years of my life.
shout out to the community.

Same here, going on my 2nd year.
Looking to upgrade to 2000XL, because I will feel more
comfortable with that one and keep the 1000 for traveling.

why would you feel more comfortable on a less featured machine? curiousity, not aggression

I had the 2000XL and I like the 1000 much more..
the other one is just too big, clumbsy and uninspiring for me.

I'm been hearing alot about how current 1K users are "upgrading" to the 2000xl... But I don't think its all about the features... I feel some users have found a level of comfort with the 2000XL's work flow and set up... I don't own one... never have. so I guess I'm kind of lucky when certain things about the 1K don't really bother me... I love the MPC 1K. I used to be nothing but MOTIF, but I've changed becaused of how easy it is for me to get my ideas out... my upgrade would be the 2500... but not for the features... for the outs... which would be kind of frivilist...

on the community? this is the hottest forum out there... so much knowledge and free posts of digs... It's almost culture like... besides HIP HOP.

i owned a 2000xl and switched to a 1000. Its like a muscle car fanatic buying a new voltswagen.

maybe the feel of the interface of the 2000xl, inc the diff padfeel,
sometimes less is more, if inspiring....

every year will go faster nym even if you go back to a 60

i left the mpc1000 for a mpc2000xl best decision i ever made i dont care so much for alot of features i want comfert..

i love the feel of getting behind a mpc2000xl and bang out a beat..the pads are nice and soft and feel alot better then the stiff hard defective mpc1000 pads..

The Clear LCD Screen might be alot smaller but looks and is alot better on the eyes...

Bigger size man i dont feels like the perfect mpc to me not to big not to small not to old not to new..

if the 2k is too big.. what about the 4k or even bigger 60? sh1t, my 3k is portable compared to 60.
