mpc1000/ms2000b midi help

Peace,

I just picked up the blue monster this past friday and im having some trouble with using the mpc/ms2000b together......

i only have the ms and the mpc....
i have followed the intructions on how to hook these two up...

question: do i need a mixer or some other equipment to hear them both playing thru the mpc?
***reason...i can hear the synth sounds only when im plugged into the ms2000.....but im playing the synth sounds with my pads and only hear my drums when im plugged into the mpc....

if it is possible i would like to "play" the synth on the "keys" and drums on my mpc "pads" but only be plugged into the mpc....

or if i can play the pads and have the synth sounds on it along with the internal drums from the mpc would be fine also.....

have you connected the strereo of the ms2000b.

connect the stero to what??? the mpc inputs or what?

lol! Yes u need a mixer to hear both at the same time mos def!

~Dawg connect the stereo outs of the ms2000b to the mixer inputs and your 1k to a mixer inputs!

I apprcieate that homie...the sales kid didnt let me know that when i bought them....i asked and was like, "no man...you got what you need"

i got maybe like one crash early on. it hasnt happened in months. try upgrading the OS - if you dare hehe
