Can you summarize for us, the materials that you have bought/used for your DIY padfix? And an update perhaps?

i'm about to hop on a plan to san francisco but i will asap. some new news to tell you.

i've been keeping up on this thread for a long time now......
I havent had any problems with the glue on my 1k pads yet (going on 18 months now),
but I have often wondered what it would be like to have EXTREMELY responsive pads (a stiff breeze to trigger them).
i do lots of drum rolls, and a mod that would make the pads that responsive would be a HUGE improvement...........


maybe we could make different styles of them, you know, like how they sell women's maxi pads?
based on the way you play your MPC, you could have
light flow,
moderate flow
and heavy flow!!

yeah that gave me a good laugh

i don't know if i could ever make pads durable enough to withstand some of the flows around these parts though!

but yes - i hope to be giving a couple options. i've made several great new discoveries in the last few days that will make everything a LOT easier to finalize.
