I bought a new MPC 1000, it work properly but the Pads don't.
sometimes they just trigger two times, and sometime they trigger even if not touched!
Is it a knowed problem or just an hardware problem?

Thanx

Does the sample trigger two times when you enable Full Level? You may hear a ghosting effect if you leave your finger on the pad too long. If you are sure you are hitting it once firm and clean then you should take it back. It shouldn't trigger unless you hit it.

i noticed the same thing when i first got mine, but i never notice it anymore. either the pads just need to be worked in, or i got used to it, i dont even no but dont sweat it man, minnnor details like that shouldnt prevent you from maken music. try to avoid hiting the pads on the edge, hit em dead on.

thanx for the help. I think I set the Pads ok and hit them ok too, I worked a lot with e drums and pads stuff. The problem still there, it is just that sometimes some Pads just trigger whithout a cause.
Well, I mean, I'm going crazy, but still making music :D

My MPC does it as well, I have one pad that is difficult to trigger, and that sometimes triggers by itself. I avoid that one when setting up programs.
I suspect the carbon piece is loose, but I avoid opening the thing up for as long as i can, because I really need the MPC daily for gigs.

I see.
Did someone notice that that overtriggering trouble, affect the 16 Step function?
