Sound issues

i have been using headphones until today and i cannot get any sound to come out of my 1/4 stereo outputs. any idea's?

Headphones not plugged in properly? Or into wrong plug?

Faulty headphones? Try different ones, or try them somewhere else where you know the h/p out works.

Is there sound coming out of the mpc main outs?

Troubleshooting, man. Go through every element one by one in order to isolate faulty bits.

headphone out works main outs do not..

is there a on-off option for output?

Headphone and stereo 1/4" are tied to the same output and cannot be switched. See if you can get any sound out of the AUX outputs and of course make sure that you aren't trying to get sound out of the record input.
