Flash card

Hi

Looking around for a CF card for my new found love, the MPC. =)

I know this question has been up before but I'll throw it in anyway. What manufacturers can you recommend for cheap, yet high quality cards?

And, I've noticed that microdrive cards are much cheaper than CF ones. What are the differences between them?

I use Kodak, Sandisk, Kingston, Crusial, and all of them work great.

And, I've noticed that microdrive cards are much cheaper than CF ones. What are the differences between them?

Microdrives are slower, and you have more chances that they will make errors while saving your data. (specially when they get old and used). CF card are faster, more secure and last longer. There is more into it, but those are the basic differences.

Do they have to be of a specific type? I've just noticed there are several types of cards. =) h he I'm not used to using compact flash so I'm kind of lost out there...

Yeah I've read that already. But I can find much better prices at other cards where I live. =( I remember reading something about the MPC only takes type II cards. Is this correct?
