Always switch off MPC to make new beat?

Hi,
I'm a real beginner and maybe this question is a bit stupid
When I made a Beat I save it on the memory card.
Then I want to hear another Beat that I've saved on the card
and load it into my MPC. But what happens? It sounds like sh** 'cause some parts of the old are mixed with the new.
Because of that, I always switch off my MPC and restart it,
but I think that isn't the right way to do it or?

when you load always replace same samples, that way if any previous samples have the same name as the new it will overwrite them. other that that i think you can purge or something like that.

You need to create separate projects loaded from different folders. I hope you have a German manual -- you really need to read those things to understand you machine.

make a blank project and load it after you make a new beat, and select yes when replacing same samples.
