When I hit purge samples my mpc says "wait..." forever. It is freezing because I left it like this for about an hour and nothing happened. Any suggestion?

probably didn't freeze if you've got a lot up you just got to wait a minute. it's running through every file loaded trying to figure out if you have something loaded.
