Syncin to Protools

So i sync my mpc to protools and i hit record in protools and everything is fine EXCEPT the first kick of the first bar always has a click in it , like a dead hit, it doesnt sound crisp ... how do i fix this?? i would want to leave some air before the recording starts but dont know how to do that

Put a blank sequence in at the start of your song in the mpc - then delete it from pro tools when you have traked it in - hey presto.

or if its a 4 bar loop record 8 bars then delete the first 4, but it shouldnt be doing that check your kik sample it might be cut too close!
