Q sliders!?

I'm new to this forum and i've just bought my first MPC (1000). I was wondering if anyone could tell my how to use the Q sliders? (if this has been discussed before then could u possibly send me a link to the discussion)

I've updated the operating system so i have the added Delay effect etc. But i can't work out how to access the Q sliders. Please help.

..oh yeah. cheers for that. I feel like ever so stupid.

The main thing I use the Q slides for is trimming up a sample. When you go into trim hold down the after button while moving the slider and it will change the start and end position of the sample which is alot easier than the data wheel which is what I used when I first started!

them q-link sliders are defly one of the dopest parts about these boxes.

i use em to:

* play with filter sweeps either for automation in a track or
for resamplin.

* to automate volume dynamics - esp on hi hats and ghost hits
on snares, can give a more realistic feel when executed right.

* and to switch between layers on a pad - this way you can have
four variants of a sound per pad. nice for more real drums, and
save space and double up on sample action.

woo yeah.

just mess with it for a while, you'll see how much these little puppys
have to offer.
