ok, so i just got my MPC in the mail (bought it on ebay) and almost right away I noticed that some pads are quieter than others (even when i loaded the exact same sample to all the pads, and hit them all very hard, but some pads won't go to full volume, unless i press the full level button)

SO, is this just part of the issue with the infamous shitty pads??? OR, is there something else wrong, internally?...

I assumed that even with the pad problems you could still get full volume out of each pad (without resorting to using the full level function) you would just lose a smooth curve with the velocity sensativity (if that makes sense).

I would very much appreciate a response cause I wanna know if this is something I should just cope with, or if I should return my MPC as faulty merchandise?

What made you assume this?

I've never read anything of the kind on here. Your problem sounds like the classic case of failing pad hardware according to just about every forum member who has reported it.

The classic "Ebay special".
