Question About The USB

Been using the 1000 for a month now I need to know if there is a program that could be used on a PC to read your project files if thats possible. Basically what I'm trying to say is if there is a way of getting my beats onto my computer using just the USB. I doubt there is but I just wanted to double check with you guys since you know everything!! :D

just using the usb? resample your beat and save it to the CF card and then transfer to computer.

So I would basically sample my beat and turn it into a wav? And connect the out to the in?

naa cant be done you cant read anything usb through the internal memory, would be cool thouhg.

Yea I understand that you cannot tap into the internal memory I was just wondering if there was a program that could manipulate the mpc so you could load up a project with the wav files.

resample beat internally to wav.

send that wav file via usb to pc.

O wowwwwww I figured that out also I just realized that you can turn a song into a sequence!!! I feel like such a newb!

You'll be aiight, just practice and get into the many different features that you have. Don't take them for granted. learn how to combine them to get other features that aren't in the machine. You know, the features that you may dream up. THAT comes with knowing your gear in depth added to your own creativity.

Is there a way to do this just using the CF Card??

Also, how do you turn the song into a sample??

and if you just want to back up, save it to the CF or HD if you have one, then transfer it to the PC.
