I have a question about midi sync. I connected the Midi out of my oxygen 8, to the Midi in of my mpc. I went into cubase sx3 and under "sync setup" I selected the oxygen as the Midi clock destination. I also went into Midi sync setup in the mpc, and selected Sync in 1 (the port that the cable is plugged into), but nothing happens when I hit play on cubase. Can controllers such as the oxygen 8, not be used as a midi interface? Thanks for any help.

Generally midi keyboards don't pass midi information 'through' unless you have a dedicated 'midi thru' port, which I don't think the Oxygen8 has.

There might be a setting on the Oxygen8 to pass received midi to the midi OUT port, I don't know.
