i know how eveyone must hate these newbian questions, as ive been lurking around on here all winter comtemplating getting an mpc.
im a long time ableton live power user and am just slightly worried that i might miss being able to do these sort of things on the mpc.
i know the 1000 can make a "patched phrase" and slip all around any tempo and pitch range, but im wondering about whats involved in matching up two loops to the same bpm and then pitching them around to tune them to eachother
am i correct in assuming that you can make a few patched phrases and then layer them all up and tune 'em while keeping them all locked in time?
maby i can get you all to share how you all go about using patched phrase, or if you dont use it, tell how you get melodic and rythmic loops to all groove nicely without just browsing untill you find one that "works"
thanks
