cut and paste within a sample?

for example, i have a snare sample and i want to make a copy and
reverse it and paste it to the end of the original sample.
is this not possible in the 1000?

load the sample on 2 different pads

reverse one

turn off the quantizing

play it live until you get what you want

resample it to the mpc

go to trim mode and edit
