Clean My Pads!!!

ok i remeber seeing a post about this, i searched and could find..

OK so my pads are hella grimey, how do i clean them bad boys??? sucks that 2 of them are already dyng, i used to laught at ya fools when you where saying "oww my pad awww my pad" ima just buy a MPD 16 so its all good but still it really sucks that this sh!t happens to the pads, i mean this mpc out of all them

Hi there, I'd like to know what u guys use for this aswell. Are you talking about externally or internally.

On all my other synth gear (externally)i use baby wipes they were recommended to me a few years back as they non abrasive cleaners

no reply but who cares i managed to clean them suckers, all i did was grab a hankerchief and scratched of the dirt

Use some rubbing alcohol, but make sure you don't touch the painted stuff as it might rub off the text. Alcohol will dissolve most of the crap that your fingers left.

Thats why baby wipes are so good they clean and have no harmful ingredients. Mopped my mpc up last nite for the first time came ot a treat.

Internally get an air can and posibly some contact solution if needed (go easy on it though)

I agree, sometimes if you go too crazy, H2O might build up and you can get ur electronics wet, and that's a plain wrong thing to do
