thinking about getting a 1k

right now i use a classic 2k but wants something new is there anything i should know before i make my choice besides the shitty pads?is the work flow gunna be easy as the 2k?is there an 8 out option?

no 8 out option, but you get 4 plus the 2 main outs. you can work it a bit with those.

i cant imagine what my workflow would be like without the 128ram and resample the outs function.

work flow is a dream
you may have to get used to submenus in the 1k as compared to the 2000, or so ive heard from others - but remember, the 1k proper is much more feature heavy than the 2000

don't worry about the pads. i advise people to buy one w/ broken pads for cheap (haggle the seller) and get it fixed for a little over a hundred (from me or from vst if you would rather DIY).

you'll love it, especially if you decide to take advantage of the portability.
