Is there a way to turn it up, I'm new to the mpc. I tried finding it in the manual but no luck.

With JJ os you can select your own sounds for the metronom, i dont think its possible with the akai os. Main volume will increase the volume of the main outs, thats all you can do i think.

rinseout is correct.
if you want to upgrade to the JJ OS, I'd strongly advise knowing your machine well beforehand, so the transistion will be alot easier.
