change time signature for entire new sequence

Immediate apology if this is obvious but I can't find it on the search function.

My whole track is in 6/8. Do I really how to change the time signature of each bar independantly. Maybe I could copy blank bars but this seems a bit roundabout aswell. Help!

I don't understand. I am aiming for a default time signature of 6/8 across every track in all sequences so I don't have to change each bar individually. Cn you clarify what you mean?

my bad i thought you were trying to change time signatures from one to the next all different. almost completely backwards from what youre really trying i guess.

so youre trying to change time sigs in bulk, all at once. i see now

save the entire memory of a blank project that you have set up the way you want to a folder on your CF card.

then just load that folder whenever you want to start a beat.

take a 4 bar sequence and change the time signature with the window key for all the bars in the sequence.

then highlight the sequence name and hit

WINDOW
COPY

and so on, for as many sequences as you want.

i say just change it on one sequence and then base all of your additional sequences off of copying the first one.

thank you....sometimes these basic things just don't come intuitively on the mpc. Soon I will manage to put some musical ideas across rather than feeling like I'm battling a new computer programming language.
