wuts good yo...i just got my turntable and mixer... i got the stanton t.50x and a smx.201 mixer nothin fancy... but i think i hooked everything up right table into the phono input to the mixer than from the mixer main out into the mpc1000 record in...when i try to sample the the damn sound is like a whisper the volume is very low...i got the record gain turned up all the way even on the mixer tooo...what the **** is goin on a little help please shit i searched and searched the forms but no help

Try the same setup but different cables.
Maybe you have the volume on the mixer in mpc set very low and you are trying to play your sample on this very track ?

i dont think thats the case because i didnt even assign the sample to a pad its when im recording the sample in genrel i can barely here any thing....maybe it could be the cables im using i dont know....im suppose to use standard rca cables right?

dude nvm i figured it out it was hella simple...u were right it was my cables thats why the sounds werent getting through so well...i jimmied the cables around and the volume got louder lol... thanks this whole time i thought it was my mixer i went through two already
