i tried searching around but found nothing of use..

i got two questions:

1. How do you make those small fade in/outs on samples so they wont click/pop at the end/start. You know, just to adjust it and smoothen that shit out. I cant find it anywhere in the manual or on this forum.

2. How do you resample on the mpc 1000 ?? i mean.. if i use comp on some drums and want to resample it.. or if i want to resample a whole layer of drums.. how do you do that ?

thank you in advance..

if this has already been brought up. Then be so kind as to punish me

1. go into program mode, highlight the sample volume field, hit window. this will bring up the pad envelope window. adjust the attack until the pop goes away.

2. go into the record window(mode + pad 5 i think), change the input from analog to main outs. hit record( f6?) the screen will say waiting for input. when you press play the mpc will start recording as soon as the first note is triggered.

attack will be the fade in, and decay will be the fade out if you need to smooth that too
