Is this a trick question? You obviously need to get a hard-drive preformance assesor, available at most computer stores, and scan the drive to ensure it's functioning properly within the unit.

Oh wait, no, you just need to try and save something to it...

Im going to rephrase my question..


Its a 120Gig Hard drive that was tested on here.. My MPC reads it as Hard Disk. Now heres my question.. "Does my MPC suppose to show me anywhere on the screen how big it is?" Because, When I select Hard Disk, the numbers at the bottom of the screen still shows like 1,313KB and some MB.. Does this suppose to switch also?


Okay when I go to, Save to Hard Disk, it says at the bottom .. Free = 0.0 MB

okay. update.. the OS is updated and I just tried to save to the hard disk and it says Disk is Full.. this is a brand new 120Gig HD that I installed today

yes, formatted and it was successful.. hard drive doesnt read any space.. but reads the hard drive.. should I take it out and reformat again>?

Did you format it with a computer?

If so, it will not work.

MPC drives must be formatted with the MPC.
