mpc freezing up

okay so ive had an ongoinging problem with my mpc. just started happening out of nowhere. when i try to record a sequence itll freeze up right before its about to loop. the overdub lights comes up but it will be totally locked up. i originally thought it was bad ram. i took out the 128 ram which was akai ram and it worked fine but about a day later it started doing the same thing. im using the 3.06 jj os but i tried putting the akai os on there and the same thing. i also tried the restart but nothing. any ideas here?

now after it locks up it will kind of continue to play the sequence i tried to record but with samples that i didnt use and this static sound comes in and out
